We really dug deep to cast talent for this project. We are so proud of Riley, Olivia, Mitchell, Jackson and Ari for their bravery and performances for this confronting campaign. They really brought it to our casting session and amazed all on-set at the shoot too.

We hit the streets of downtown Sunbury to cast some happy locals for this development project for Australand.
From real families, to local sports personalities, students and business folks we found the perfect subjects for photographer Thom Rigney to capture some genuine smiles.
Here’s an update of what’s kept us busy in production land.
We’ve been mostly (ffreeeezing) on location shooting some tops projects with the greatest crews and clients in town. We’ll share their shots with you soon – and name nammmes.

83. STYLIST / MEL BRADY
If you live and work in the industry in Melbourne you’ll know Mel. We’ve worked with her for many years and she has a special place in our hearts and on our crews.
She can dress a room set in the blink of an eye, un-daggy the daggiest of garments and she cooks, corrects and creates. Not many stylists can REALLY ‘do it all’ – but Mel can.
Mel recently won the 99 ‘Hustle’ award for the most amount of props sourced in 48HRS. She also managed to configure them all (tetris style) in her hatchback and make the trek down to the coast – solo and smiling all the way.
She’s a superwoman.
99 Productions turns six this month – that’s 2190 days, how many strings there are on a guitar, 42 years in dog years, our favorite number of drinks in a pack and a whole LOT of shoots!

More and more we get asked to shoot video at our stills shoots and we know just the guy to call.
We’ve known Mick (AKA Inspector Gadget) for yonks and every year he gets better and better. We are waiting for the day when he tells us to ‘talk to the hand’ BUT for now, he’s the first guy we call for help on our video stuff.
Mick just shot a video for our beloved Snooze client and hit it out of the park. He worked beautifully with the stills crew and helped direct the video action coming up with super quick solutions on the spot. He has his own gear, he’s unassuming, patient and kind and deserves every bit of success that’s sure to stream his way.
Don’t forget us Mick and don’t you forget him either.
