81. MUNCHKINS MANAGEMENT
99 Productions has been booking kids from Munchkins since 2005. There is ALWAYS a little one from Munchkins on the kiddies call sheets, they have always been top of their game.
Munchkins kids are adorable, confident little models and performers who are always comfortable, engaging and well-versed in their casting sessions.
They MUST check out the parents too as we’ve not had a single stage Mum….a frightening phenomenon that can wreak havoc on your set.
Check out little Munchkin Aston killing it at our recent shoot. He even waited until we yelled ‘CUT’ to pick his nose and he’s only three – talented see.

When it comes to casting you can’t beat the real deal and we knew at 99 HQ that nothing would say ‘elite athlete’ like well, an elite athlete.
We recently cast eight top athletes to feature in Photographer Christopher Tovo’s latest campaign, approaching and scouting athletes from various top Melbourne sports clubs.

82. PHOTOGRAPHER JAMES BRAUND
Melbourne Photographer James Braund is a true gentleman and a fellow we work with a whole lot. His specialty is that ‘warm and fuzzy’ photography and he could make Gina Rinehart look like a darling.
We’ve shot over loooong days and weeks with James who runs on skinny caps and muesli bars. His ability to sneak up on those less experiences models and subjects and draw out those ‘moments in-between’ is phenomenal.
He has an awesome image management system and holds the record for the most ‘advertisingy’ (yes, thats’ a word) images supplied to a client out of a single shoot day.

Four busy days on-set managing more crew and cast than you can poke a stick at.
It was all systems GO shooting for SEEK last month with the 99 team scouting and managing 5 ‘really’ creative and corporate offices and over 30 faces to advertise to all sorts of job seekers.
On the fifth day, it was ‘to the pub’ for that looooong lunch – don’t tell the boss!

It’s been all about the casting sessions lately at 99 Productions and we’ve met some cuties and some BIG characters.
We’ve found everything from ‘real’ sports stars, sweet little kiddies, nerdy legends, charity workers, happy families, tattooed hotties and some canine companions.

This month we’ve been in studio managing the latest shoot for Snooze. With Photographer Peter Mack and Stylist Deb Bowen you can’t go wrong and Pete even took some stunning video footage on the fly – a man of many talents.
With Snooze keen to capture as many beautiful images as possible for use across all media from catalogue to online, in-store and even social media we also enlisted local photographer and buddy Leo Farrel to take some creative editorial style images and BTS shots.
In the end, the team provided over 250 simply beautiful images, and many many video clips for Snooze – plus over 100 pristine product shots as well – it was a busy one. Watch out for the imagery soon!

Lately we’ve produced some epic furniture jobs for Snooze and La-Z-boy both in studio and on location.
You need hard working, super stylish crews and a whole lot of fail proof planning.
These shots are sure to inspire those springtime redecorators and we are tickled pink with them.
